Choosing a Beachfront Home in Palm Beach County

Boca Raton Beachfront Homes

Boca Raton boasts a variety of beachfront communities and neighborhoods along the coast. Whether you want a luxury condo overlooking the Atlantic or a single-family home along the Intracoastal, Boca Raton has something to offer. For private beachfront access, you might like Excelsior Condos. Each of the 28 luxury condos has a panoramic view of the Atlantic Ocean coupled with impeccable design, and the community offers concierge service, unparalleled personal services (like housekeeping, fishing trips, and limousine transportation), boat slips for yachts up to 60 feet, and a private oceanfront pool.

If you’re looking for a single-family home with more privacy, you may enjoy Bel Lido Isle, one of the most desirable beachfront communities in the area. Some homes in the area have private deeded beach access, and all homes are in close proximity to both the Intracoastal and the ocean, with gorgeous views from every angle in the home. Most homes in Bel Lido Isle are large and stately, but there are also some luxury villas with a smaller footprint.

Sun and Surf is another popular waterfront community on the east side of the Intracoastal Waterway. It offers private, deep water dock for vessels of up to 100 feet and 81 luxury homes up to 10,000 square feet in size. Resort-style pools, spas and private home theaters are just a few features in many of the homes in Sun and Surf.

Fort Lauderdale Beachfront Homes

Waterfront properties in Fort Lauderdale include those in both oceanfront communities and those located along Ocean Access Canals and the Intracoastal Highway. Oceanfront homes are highly coveted and in small supply, drawing a higher price point and more prestige. The community of Lauderdale Beach is the only neighborhood in Fort Lauderdale that offers single-family homes located directly on the beach.

North Atlantic Boulevard is the exclusive street for beachfront homes in Fort Lauderdale, but there are other waterfront properties along the canals and Intracoastal, as well as homes with ocean views and close proximity to the beach. With almost 200 miles of waterways and nicknamed the “Mega Yacht Capital of the World,” Fort Lauderdale has a variety of waterfront properties to offer. If you’re looking for a waterfront home with docking for a yacht, you may like Las Olas Isles, located on the New River, Ocean Access Canals, and Intracoastal Highway, where you’ll find gorgeous homes on highly desirable land.

Delray Beach Beachfront Homes

Between Boca Raton and Palm Beach lies Delray Beach, with a small-town atmosphere and charming downtown area. Waterfront communities in Delray Beach include oceanfront estates, homes along the Intracoastal Highway, and condos with beach access. Tropic Isle is a Delray Beach community that offers a variety of luxury waterfront properties, on either the Intracoastal of Ocean Access Canals, with docking and panoramic views.

Pelican Harbor is a gated waterfront community that includes townhomes, condos, and single-family homes. Residents enjoy being surrounded by water on three sides, close proximity to the ocean, as well as luxury amenities and the security of a gated community.

For an oceanfront home, you may want to consider Seaspray Estates, where you’ll find luxury homes ranging from three to six bedrooms, with 12-foot ceilings, chef’s kitchens, elevators, private pools, panoramic Atlantic Ocean views, beach access, and luxury community amenities.

West Palm Beach Beachfront Homes

West Palm Beach has both private single-family homes on the Ocean and the Intracoastal, as well as many luxury waterfront condos. Flagler Drive is a beautiful street filled with luxury oceanfront properties that will make your waterfront home dreams come true.

If you’re interested in a new construction condo, consider Forte on Flagler. You’ll love the sweeping ocean views and beach access at Forte on Flagler, where residents can build a condo ranging from four to six bedrooms and between 4,200 and 8,400 square feet. The highly exclusive condo community will only include 41 residences, with private elevator entrances and at least 1,000 square feet of private outdoor space for each residence. Luxury finishes and amenities will abound at Forte on Flagler.

Palm Beach Beachfront Homes

In Palm Beach, you’ll find a variety of waterfront properties available. Many oceanfront homes in Palm Beach also include a parcel of Intracoastal land with the benefit of yacht dockage. It is important to take into consideration whether you would like to live on the ocean or along any of the other waterways in Palm Beach, as there are lovely perks to both options but one will likely fit your lifestyle better than the other.

Breathtaking oceanfront estates can be found all along South Ocean Boulevard, as well as smaller-scale waterfront homes for those who prefer a cozier home with a smaller footprint. Palm Beach also has multiple luxury waterfront condo communities currently under construction, offering you an opportunity to be the first owner. Consider Nautilus 220, where condos will boast views of the ocean, Intracoastal, and the city skyline, and where residents have quick access to Lake Park Harbor Marina, which accommodates yachts up to 100 feet. La Clara Palm Beach is also under construction and will offer condos up to 3,000 square feet with luxury amenities and views of the ocean, Palm Beach Island, and the Intracoastal.

Jupiter Beachfront Homes

Jupiter offers waterfront residences including single-family beachfront estates and luxury condos. If you’re interested in a new construction condo community, consider Seaglass Jupiter Island, an exclusive luxury condo community set to be completed by the Fall of 2022. This waterfront condo community will be a boutique style with only 21 residences, each with breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean and Intracoastal. Condos in Seaglass will range from 3,781 to 5,323 square feet with large balconies up to nearly 4,000 square feet to maximize the waterfront appeal. Residents will enjoy high-end amenities like a yoga and meditation lawn, concierge and valet, high-level security, and an Oceanfront Summer Kitchen.

If you’d prefer an oceanfront single-family home, you might look in Jupiter Inlet Colony, which is the only oceanfront community in town. Residents of Jupiter Inlet Colony enjoy one of the safest beachfront communities with plenty of ocean views and beach access, and gorgeous homes on every street.
